In addition to setting up data stewards with access to the many data quality and management tools in InterAction, you must also set up a few other items to help you record changes made and maintain logs of your data quality activities.
Before you can use the data quality features, you must do the following:
- Set the Data Quality Permission. For more information, see Assigning Users the Data Quality Permission.
- Review the ways of maintaining a record of the changes made. For more information, see Monitoring Changes Made Using Data Quality Features.
- Set the location of the data quality log files (optional). For more information, see Using a Network Log File.
Other features of InterAction also maintain log files of changes made. These features include the following:
- Import - an error log file maintains information about contacts that could not be imported.
- Association Cleanup - a log file maintains information about the contact information that was matched. For more information, see Association Cleanup Log File and Activities.
