Choose Data Quality > Find and Replace to open the Find and Replace dialog box.
- Select the Field you want to replace.
- Select the folder or search results you want to use. To select a folder not in the drop-down list, choose Browse.

Choose Find to view the Replace Values dialog box.
On the Replace Values dialog box, after reviewing the contacts that will be updated, you can do any of the following:
To Do this remove a contact from the update clear its check box remove all contacts from the update choose Clear All add all contacts to the update choose Select All print a list of the contacts that will be updated choose Print - After you have reviewed the contacts and made any changes to the contacts being updated, choose Replace Values. All contacts that were marked are updated.
If you update a contact that already has the update applied, InterAction will not change the value again. For example, if you find all contacts that contain the letters “esq” and update the whole field to “Esq.” InterAction will not update any fields that already appear as “Esq.” even if they are marked. This avoids unnecessary processing and saves time. On the confirmation dialog, InterAction displays only the number of contacts that were actually updated, it does not include the number of contacts that did not have to be updated.
